Aaron's Alley is your local mom & pop hippie shop located in Rochester, NY - right in the heart of Monroe Ave. During the journey of turning our brick and mortar into an ecommerce store, we knew the importance of not losing that “magic” that happens within these four walls. That is why we turned our website into a virtual experience so that no matter where you are in the world, we’re right there with you! We are your one stop hippie store with a rich history and a huge range of products for sale in store and online. Our shopping website is tied to our in-house inventory and we mail everything out from our little store on the Ave. We welcome you to our new online experience!

Aaron’s Alley is the “hippiest” place on earth! We love to come almost weekly at this point. Aaron's Story

An inspiration and ray of light in the lives of every person he encountered, Aaron Plunkett started Aaron's Alley with a dream and a vending cart. Over the next 16 years until his unexpected passing in 2013, Aaron created more than a store, he built an experience, a vibe, and a community surrounding his love of live music, specifically the Grateful Dead, hippie culture, and his ability to connect and share happiness with literally anyone he met. When Aaron passed away, his wife Jen and devoted friends and employees rallied together to keep Aaron's Alley going, staying true to Aaron's vision and take on life.
